Post Laptop as Monitor via USB

Hello! I have a Raspberry Pi (MicroComputer) with HDMI output, and I am going to buy a HDMI - USB converter (Amazon.com: Display Port to HDMI Converter with Audio Adapter: Computers & Accessories).
My question is, is there a way to connect the USB port to my laptop, and use the laptop as a monitor? I would like to find out quickly, and all replies are appreciated.
