i have an old acer travelmate 342t notebook that neva had wifi. i had a spare wifi minipci card lyin around at home so i took out the old lan card and put this1 in. installed drivers, it all works fine except theres no antenna in the laptop so it cant find networks obviously.

if i buy the antenna off ebay where will i put the antenna in the laptop?

well then its probably a cheap POS... just buy a nicer one...

cuz if u dont know where to put the antenna, theres obviously not a spot to put it...

and sometimes, they dont even need an antenna...
