Thanks to eBay's fees, my budget has gone to $750 for a gaming laptop. I found a Gateway P-6860FX 17" notebook. How are these specs for gaming?

MSRP is 1,299 and it says it has a 9800M DGPU, Are you sure you linked to the right model?

I'm buying the older model of that. It's the third one down in the series.

Even then, the specs you posted seem alright. DDR2-667 isn't too bad and a 1.83GHz Core2Duo with a 2Mb L2 can get the job done alright. Cheers to the good find
