laptop help

i just bought a SONY VAIO LAPTOP Model (PCG-7A2L) for 100 bucks
and i want to know if theres any way i can give it a performance boost.
it has a centrino 1.86ghz and 256 mb of ram
im upgrading ram to 768mb
i will be using this for music and movies and maybe some video making.

Installing more memroy is about as good as it gets. There really isn't too much you can do with a laptop other than install more/faster memory and larger hard drives. They are fairly proprietary and built with mainly integrated components.

yea, you can't overclock a laptop, so adding more RAM is th ebest your gonna get. i would switch the processor with a faster one though, 1.86ghz is not too fast
