laptop help
i just bought a SONY VAIO LAPTOP Model (PCG-7A2L) for 100 bucks
 and i want to know if theres any way i can give it a performance boost. it has a centrino 1.86ghz and 256 mb of ram im upgrading ram to 768mb i will be using this for music and movies and maybe some video making. thanks. |

Installing more memroy is about as good as it gets. There really isn't too much you can do with a laptop other than install more/faster memory and larger hard drives. They are fairly proprietary and built with mainly integrated components.

yea, you can't overclock a laptop, so adding more RAM is th ebest your gonna get. i would switch the processor with a faster one though, 1.86ghz is not too fast
