Right, the laptops my uncle gets are not amazing. Pentuim three!

This will be slow on 128 ram with xp, so if I dump aload more RAM on it, will it be ok to run xp?

I think you need a minimum of 256mb of RAM to run windows XP. I would bet however, that it's still gonna run slow but it should install with more RAM either way.

Yeah my firend has a desktop at 889mhz...and 512 and it runs xp fine

I've seen XP running on 64Mb before. But it was so damn slow and crashed a lot, basically useless.

rofl the mimimum requirements are 128MB but yea it'll be slow as crap, get at least 256, it wont be no lightning fast computer of corse but it shouldn't do 2 bad
