Default laptop display

Here's my problem, I have an hp laptop with the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7150M graphics. Every so often the screen will flicker and then display this jumbled up screen, like somone just took all the pixels and rearranged them. I was wondering if this is a driver issue, or if its wiring?

weird. I have never seen that before. I would start with new drivers and see where that gets you.

can we get a screenshot if possible?
sounds like possibly a loose connection, but updating the drivers is the easiest way to start
