Default laptop cooling question

i got my new laptop cooler. is it better to have it blowing cool air into bottom vents or sucking warm air out of them?

if it is just a standard fan that your talking about then def sucking hot air out.

if it has some kind of cooling mechanism on it so it produces cold air it might be best to have it blowing on it
