Dell does have good deals usually and their laptops are nice! Very appealing, instead of the generic grey and black they used to have (bleh..).

Sony is good at the mooment, however, get a mac and use virtual pc!

Right now I'm looking at the Hp dv4000, that's the one I'm prabably getting. All I have to say is, I've read some pretty bad reviews on Dell laptops, I wouldn't advise getting one because I read that the case on alot of them isn't very good.

whats about ABS? arnt they pretty good, and i didnt seen anyone mention those.

ABS, falcon, voodoo, alienware, asus, acer, or gateway make some good labtops...

Hmm...I might go with the dell cos you could build your own one on the website and select which video card, amount of memory etc...and also - when you order online, you get double the memory!

(lol, its good to see i have some smart opinions jac...lol look at the blonde thread in the social lounge if u don't understand)

Dell isn't bad. They're getting better and if you order at the right time, you'll save tons.
