LAN party equipment

Well i am organizing a LAN party that will take place in a little under a month.
i have no money right now
but make $10 an hour
so i'll have a good balance by the time

but lets just say i have $300 by that time (hopefully more D: )
and i want 10 people to come to the lan party
what affordable solutions can i make?

the game will be counterstrike 1.6
so not tooooooooooo much performance is needed
and yes i'll also need 10 monitors >_>
i highly doubt there is a way to fit it under $300
but just give me the cheapest sub-$1000 ideas you can
no i dont mind CRT monitors XD
cuz thats prolly the cheapest way to go for taht

any help is appreciated and i only want online stores
not any offers from members here,
i have to use my moms credit card and of course she wont like that >_>

Let me get this straight. You're buying computers for everybody? Just have them bring their own.

well this wont be a one time thing, and i figured this way here we wont have to worry about setup, under-requirement machines, and etc.

You don't have to buy 10 monitors. Just tell everyone to bring there own. That's what we do around here. Everyone person has to bring a monitor, headphones, pc with wires and a 10 foot cat5 cable. We just provide the space, table and seats.

I still think they should bring their own computers. If you want you could build one or two in case somebody doesn't have or something. But I mean...CS1.6 doesn't take much to run. Most onboard would probably run it just fine.

You don't need to buy everyone a computer! that's an insane idea.

You need a switch, something setup as the server and lots of pizza. Enough electricity for everyone is necessary too, but it's hard to judge this without having a strong knowledge in electricity.

it may seem nice to have that much computer for lan parties, but eventually it will get old, and your 10 computers will go to waste.

I like to bring my computer to lan parties, its pretty fun. Though it sucks carrying it around and hope you dont drop it down the stairs.
