Default Laggy mouse?

Has anyone experienced this before? Its vrey weird, even with nothing running and hardly any ram usage and my mouse is lagging like anything. Any suggestions? this has really got me stumped

I have had that happen to me on my old Dell. I would check in task manager and see if there are any unknown processes eating at you CPU usage. It ended up being a virus for me. Hope this helps.

if it's wireless better make sure there is nothing blocking the connection.

are you doing anything when it happens. Is it only when you run a certain program or is it all the time?

if it is wireless it could be something blocking the signal or flat batteries

if it is a usb mouse try a different usb port ,if you have a pci usb card i dont use my mouse with mine cos it dosent lke it too much
oh and finaly if it is an optical mouse try using a different surface , optical ice dont like shiny reflective surfaces at all or glass

Happened to me when i upgraded my gfx drivers, maybe try some different ones.

i had something like that happen with mine not to long ago...it was just dead battery's for me though.
