How can I reduce the amount of lag while I play games online?

p.s. my modem is 100Mbps

to reduce lag lower the settings on the game through its options menu

Also in windows make sure there are none/not many programs taking bandwidth

There's a huge difference in your lag with online gamming or just gamming in genreal. You should specify what you mean...

DSLReports.com has information on how you can get the most out of your broadband connection.

If it's PC lag, lower settings, upgrade your graphics card, shut down programs, that sort of thing.

If it's bandwidth lag, there isn't much you can do besides making sure nothing else is using your connection.

I meant to say online gaming.

Suppose the problem could be to do with the firewalls as I have the Windows firewall and Nortons firewall up lol.
