Default L.A. Rush Problem!

i just got a PNY Geforce 7300gs video card and played L.A. rush with it and i noticed that in the menus and stuff the words are missing, its just an empty blob...

Weird...

Have you got updated drivers for the card?
Maybe this was fixed in a later driver you see.

um...let me see here. okay i think i'll have to. the current forceware drivers are 81.93, and the newest are 91.31...released not too long ago.

Yeah, run an update, and keep us updated on the results

If that doesn't fix it, we'll have to have a route through the settings. I'm thinking if its not that, its something to do with Antistropic filtering, since some older games for example just can't handle good quality graphics without this turned on to a high amount.

For instance, the original Need For Speed Underground looks dreadful without it switched on, and, for some reason, even on my card, is dreadfully slow for an old game.

autoupdate? for the game or the video drivers...i'm guessing u r talking about the video drivers cause i can't update la rush.
