Default kingston and corsair: same company?

i heard from several people that corsair and kingston ram are made by the same company...
is this true?

I don't think so either on top of the others, they're both good ram in my opinion so why would they be from the same company?
maybe if one was cheap ram and the other good ram but they're both good so I don't think they're made by the same people.

I don't think they are the same either, but I do agree, they both make very good ram.
