Default Keyboard not working....

I swap video cards and now the ps/2 slot where keyboard plugs into, doesn't work....

I go into my keyboards properties in the control panel and it says nothing

How are you getting there solely by mouse?
Do you have an usb keyboard?

No i don't have a usb keyboard.

I click on windows taskbar a go to control panel then keyboard lol.....


Do i need to buy a usb keyboard or could i buy one of these.

You could buy one of those.
They come in handy for online gaming on consoles as well.

I assume you've tried a second keyboard? If not, just get ahold of a cheapy USB one..

So you switched video cards and your ps/2 port stopped working?!


That is really odd 0.o

I would make sure everything is connected correctly inside.. For example if you are using a PCI card for your mouse and keyboard instead of the motherboard.

Sounds like a simple "opps" to me. The video card and the ps/2 port have nothing to do with each other i don't understand how this could happen.

Sounds like a coincidence to me.

get a USB keyboard and be done with it, they are like $10
