Default K9N Neo-F V3 support 6400+?

Well does the MSI K9N Neo-f v3 support a AMD athlon 64 X2 6400+? I heard it doesn't because it's 125 watt at max power but what processor ever runs at its max wattage for more than a few seconds?

I don't see why it wouldn't work. That motherboard supports the Athlon X2 6000+ Windsor according to the approved CPU list.

They have slow support. The person said it isn't supported but what would happen if I put it in?

The MSI K9N Neo-f v3 supports upto the Athlon X2 6000+.

The thing is the VRM's on the MSI K9N Neo-f v3 don't even have heatsinks so it should run it but I wouldn't OC too much on this mobo.

I figured it would work. If the thing can run a 6000+ Windsor, then what's a few more MHz going to hurt?

Damn straight :P.
