Default just a question!

I need more space in my rig.

I got a 36 gig raptor and it just ain't cuttin it.

I want to get a 74 gig raptor, are they any slower at all becuase they have more disks?

Assuming you defrag regularly, there shouldn't be a problem.

if its only for storage tho consider getting just an ordinary sata drive , you can get more storage space for your money and just use the raptor to boot the os would prolly speed things up a bit as well

Nah I'm going to take my 36gig out all together and put it into my server.

So the 74gig will be used for os, programs, documents etc. etc.

Sounds good. The alternative is you could RAID0 2 36GBs, getting basically the same storage, with a pretty big performance increase.

Then go for the 74 gig, or even the 150 gig if you have the cash.

I'll just go for the 74 gig. I don't use that much space. I just would like to have the extra space. I'm trying to save for a car and I don't wanna spend anymore money on my computer.
