Congrats, I have two myself...but haven't used em yet :|...none of my other stuff has come besides my cpu.

I ordered my comp parts last SATURDAY from Newegg, and they've shipped from NJ, and I live in RI (not that far)...and they get here Monday :| 9 freaking days for 3 day shipping. :|

i dont really think its that big a leap
if you have a 8800 already you wouldn't upgrade
i consider a big leap when you go from running a game from medium to max settings

almost double the FPS is not a big leap...? I don't know that much about this stuff, but it seems to me that you're fighting a losing battle here...

im just saying its not a huge leap if you had an 8800 you wouldnt buy one of theses

To be honest I didn't think that many would make the transition, but I've seen loads of reviews from upgrades from 8800s to 4870s. And it is a huge leap .. even with people with 2 8800s, or so I've heard.

in still happy with my 8800GT
it will serve its purpose nicely
