Just got a new monitor and maybe need to calibrate

I just bought a Samsung 245B monitor. I am running windows vista 32bit. I was wondering if it even need calibration. I heard about magictune and natural colour and I want to know if I should install them. The compatibility list doesn't list any video card that came out in the last 3 years. I have the 8800GTS 512Mb. Do I need to calibrate and if so can someone tell me the settings I should calibrate.

Shouldn't need calibrated unless the colors look funny or off to you.

I don't really know of any monitor that NEEDED to be calibrated, or at least I've never had to do that. I think it's mostly flat screen tv's that need to be calibrated.
