Just built desktop, can't connect TV as monitor

make sure you have the OS disc in your drive and hit i think it may be f8 while your comp is turning on and somewhere in bios you can select what you want. I don't remember what it is in but that should work. Most problems do seem to be bad ram....

Thanks, but it ended up installing, it was just going really slow. Now the computer's running great, except for the single channel RAM, which will be fixed as soon as I get a replacement from Newegg.
