reggie_da_man Fully Optimized Messages 2,679 Jan 20, 2006 #44 No. Your going to have to take the heatsink off. Clean the CPU with rubbing alcohol, apply the AS5 on the cpu, then put the new hs/f on.

reggie_da_man Fully Optimized Messages 2,679 Jan 20, 2006 #48 Well, with OCZ value ram, I was able to get it up from 1.8GHz to 2.7GHz and 3.015GHz bios stable. With my new ram (as soon as I buy it lol) I'm going to see how high I can push my cpu. But I'm going to keep it at around 2.4GHz or so.
