I have noticed something strange on the family computer which would be nice to fix. The computer is a P4 with 1gig of ram running windows xp. I noticed that when running flash or java apps (such as flash games) the CPU usage rises dramatically, and the media lags unnaceptably. For example, flash games dont run smoothly, which should be no problem for any (somewhat)modern computer. I attemped to solve the issue by uninstalling flash and java from the computer, and then reinstalling, but that didn't do anything.
Any suggestions?
