Default Java Applet Problems ...

Recently, i've been trying to access Java
But whenever a page is supposed to load Java, it would just close itself, any ideas or suggestions as to why this may be happening at all? I have only recently installed Java, and that time, was because of this exact same problem ... i've checked an internet explorer (even tried with firefox) and it enables java ...
To be honest, i have absolutely no idea as to why this is happening, any help will be appreciated and thanks in advanced

I am not sure but there is an option somewhere in control panel to set.....what that option does is it will not close the programs that are not responding...that means currently may be you have the option turned on.....so the non responding programs will close by itself.....I dont know where the option is but I'll try to find it and let u know if I do.....
