Default IZ3D and eyefinity

Any chance I can use both together to basically create a 3DVS setup with an ATI card? I tried anaglyph mode and it worked, but I want to be sure because it will be the deciding factor on whether I buy one or three new monitors for 3D. I will be using 100Hz monitors and active shutter glasses.

My assumption is that it will work because iz3D is software and eyefinity is hardware, so the 3D would be rendered before being sliced up by eyefinity. But there is always a chance that the software portion of eyefinity will interfere.
