Default Ive got a really annoying problem!!!!

everytime i open up a folder with video files in it, these annoying messages pop up:

http://img180.imageshack.us/img180/6576/problemjr5.jpg

first, message one pops up. you then click on close and the second message pops up. you click on dont send and it closes down explorer.

if you dont click on close for message 1 you still can work from the folder and carry on what you doing with the messge still up on the screen

does anyone know what its about and how to stop it? it only happens with video files. I have NOD32 and spyware docotr with windows xp home and all the updates

sounds like spyware or a virus to me, run a full virus test, or maybe try a system restore

Yea i would reccomend downloading and installing

AVG antivirus
http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Vir...g=pop.software

and 2 of the following anti-spyware/malware programs

Ad-aware
http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-...g=pop.software

Spybot
http://www.download.com/Spybot-Searc....html?tag=list

Windows Defender
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...PdOIPuUQ%3d%3d

once these programs are installed, and you have downloaded the latest updates and definitions go into safemode and scan with everyone of them.

To get into safemode in Windows XP

Press F8 Right after the POST test, (when your computer detects your RAM, and Drives)
This will be right before you see the windows screen, where the loading bars scroll across.

good luck man

Yeah, it's a virus and/or registry issue...

For viruses/spyware, try these online scans:

housecall.trendmicro.com
www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/
www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html
www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus
www3.ca.com/virusinfo/virusscan.aspx
support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml
www.thefreecountry.com/security/antivirus.shtml

Should pick up any malware/virus that you have on your computer.

For registry cleanup:

http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/
http://www.pctools.com/registry-mechanic/download/

You can use both if it suits you, personally i just use AVG.

and those scans are great but all they do is tell you your problem. they dont fix it....
