Default ive got a lan coming up....

and i wanted to know should i buy a ethernet/lan/network card, there is a whole network of people that i can leech off, would any of these cards give me any advantages?

Well if you wanted a wired connection, yes, buy a card. As far as leeching... all you would be doing is slowing down both of your bandwidths down.

why do i need a card, when i can already connect to the internet? Dont motherboards have built in cards?

Well, if your mobo already has one integrated then no, you do not need one.

What are your full system specs?? If you have a slower CPU, you could benefit from getting a dedicated LAN card because with integrated LAN, it puts the work on the CPU.
