You know, I've been trying to change the IRQs on this system for a while now without much success. I mean, maybe I'm wrong, but wouldn't I get better performace if my USB, video, sound, and NIC weren't all on the same freaking IRQ?

I mean, how does this work when it's shareing the same one for all these devices? Wouldn't it have to divide the 'power' up? And if I'm doing some online game...ugh, what do I know...

Suggestions?

OMG.... All those devices are sharing the same IRQ????? Split them up!!!! Go into your device manager and try to seperate IRQs by looking at IRQ numbers, and video, sound, and NIC should have their own!! USB can share with other non important ones. Otherwise, right now, you are loosing 50% of your performance! CHANGE THEM!!!

You think I havn't tried that? LOL, and this system has been like that for a while now(it's an older one, 1400MHz, Radeon 8500) Hmm...wonder what kinda performace it really has.

Any other ways. I will reload if I must...
