Internet speed...

I have 2mb connection and download fully @ 200kb/sec+, but some times, well most times it downloads at <50kb, even from big site such as download.com and filefront, and many other sites.. why is this and can anyone offer help ?

most of the time it's about the server the files are hosted on. Sure download.com etc might be big but that only means that there are a lot of users using their servers. Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's fast.
