Internet Quicktime Problem

Hey guys, i'm trying to load up pages with flash media on it , eg. ign.com and the areas where it's supposed to show flash is replaced with quicktime and it doesnt load up!. I've tried everything from uninstalling quicktime, changing settings in internet options etc, anyone know the solution to this? thanks in advance
