A few of those types of sites are actually legitimate. Which ones, however, I have no clue. Before signing up for something like that, be sure you read EVERYTHING multiple times, including the fine print. I don't know about flooding your mail. I have never tried one of these sites, but a lot of them actually have you subscribe to a service you have to pay for. I remember looking at a site to get a "free" Xbox 360, but it said you had to sign up for like... 10 different companies that you have to pay for (like NetFlix, Rhapsody, a bunch of other crap like that).
