some pages just take longer to load because of all the stuff on them...i notice a lag like that when i open cnn.com. if you go to say, google.com (non-customized version), it should load real fast as comparison.

Sounds like your browser to me.. Have you tried any others?

I would recommend using Firefox over IE7, but its your choice.

Jamie.

i'm using a NETGEAR router. i think i'm going wireless though soon and i definetly know it wasn't my browser because when i was playin CS:S my ping was like 140 and its usually 25-40 with every server.

my internet is alright now a tad bit laggy but not like it was the other night.
