Internet Connection Spikes in all Games

I've been having this problem for months now, i dont think its there server, my friends that live around me dont have this problem

Whatever game I'm in I'm fine then i get connection problems BF2,UT2004,cs 1.6, even tribes 2, so i know its not my computer (3000+ NF7-S v2 512mb ram 9800pro oced at 410/340, I have an onboard network card and was wondering if getting a new one would help it

I've tested it at up to 6 mbps (comcast cable)
but now i just tested and got 1.8 - 2.5
