Default Intel's new cooler is big

Remember the thread about Intel's new heatsink? Well it is quite bigger than I than I thought it would be.

Holy $hit. It is big!! Seems like it would get in the way or something. Wonder how well it works?

I would guess that it works better than the tiny piece of aluminum and gross blue plastic next to it. Probably not phenomenal though, since it doesn't have any heatpipes. It is a necessary upgrade though, because the 9650 is rated at 130 watts.

I kinda want one just because it looks cool.

It'll work good, but If you look on one of the other pictures, there is nothing in the center of the HS. If it was solid in the center, then it would be a lot better.

That's weird. It would be nice if they had a reason, but it looks like it was to cut production cost.
