Well it all depends on benchmarks, sure one is a 'truer' quad core but will it be faster?

Until benches are out, that picture means nothing. I'm happy with my C2D for the time being though.

if you cant call the quad cores that are out right now "true quad cores" then can you really call the dual core processors true dual cores?

You can call the current Core 2 Duo's "true" dual cores because both cores are packaged on a single die.

If u ppl are wondering if it will b better to have a true Quad then look at how much a difference "true Duals" are compared to duals with 2 single cores

my 680i bored can upgrade XD

AMD needs to make a socket more future-proof. Swapping mobos is annoying every time you want to buy a new processor.
