Default Intel "Santa Rose" Aka Pro

Hey, I'm just about to head to Fry's to pick up a fully loaded Hp DV6000 and then I found out about a new intel CPU coming out. Is it worth the wait to wait for "Santa Rose", will it be more money, when is it coming out for HP. Sorry that I have to so many questions but I just want to make sure I make the right decision. I dont play games on my computer so that wont be a factor if the "Santa Rose" CPU makes that better. Thanks so much for your help!

its Santa Rosa, and it should be coming out soon as it uses Core 2 Duo with a 800mhz FSB instead of the old 667.
