intel pro wireless 2200bg problem

hello

i have a dell latitude d810,55 gb hdd,1gb ram,ati graphics,intel pro wireless 2200bg.i hav xp pro installed with fedora 8.my problem is when i go onto fedora my wireless card dosnt work but when i go onto xp it does.i dont know what to do and i dont know how to install programs on fedora.thanks

maybe your type of linux does'nt support tha wireless? try googling it

i have.other say it works but they downloaded the driver for it.i dont know how to install drivers on linux.i read this tutorial on how to install software and i was lost.i have no idea how to do it

neither do i but maybe try this, look for device manager and look for the component your trying to install, like it will say (wireless make/model, right click update and loate your downloaded drivers and then open them and it should install the .dll files into your system folder.
