Default intel core2 duo cpu @1.50GHz 1.50GHz

i have a viso laptop that was a old Christmas present. it has vista and a 1g ram.
i am thinking to buy 4g of ram and i have windows7 update for it but, before i buy the ram is the processor worth messing with

1.5 GHz laptop isn't too much to sneeze at, it's not a record breaker, but if you want to throw 7 on it and upgrade the RAM and use it for portable multimedia (DVDs, Netflix if you're a subscriber, etc) then I don't see a problem.

What do you mean messing with? There's really not much you can do to change it, you might be able to replace it but it'll be a small increase in performance. I say just put win7 on it and put more RAM in it.

og thank you. i put 7 on it last night and now i will get the ram soon and use it for movies and music which i what i wanted. i mean i have a gaming pc now so.

do you think counterstrike will run on it well. and Gibson i mean is it worth buying the ram or should just give up on it as a whole. but i am not now.
