Default Intel Core 2 Duo: Centrino Duo Temp

What should the temps be of this processor be? I think mine are running hot. At 1% CPU usage it is 49C per core and once I start running processes it jumps up to 59C per core......how do I keep it cool, without voiding the warranty?
