Intel Atom 1.6ghz equivalent ?

What's the equivalent laptop or desktop computer processor to the Intel Atom N270 1.6ghz processor ?

I've just bought an Advent 4211 netbook with Intel Atom N270 1.6ghz processor and also own a Dell 1501 with AMD dual core 1.6ghz CPU and wondered how these two compare.

I know the battery life on the netbook is a very lot better. It's hard for me to compare though because my laptop is running Vista and the netbook is running XP.
