Question Intel To AMD

i am thinking of changing from Intel to AMD (i know all bout the motherbord change with the different processors) but will i have to reinstall windows

on the intel it has a few pins missing and sum are just bent
(i alreddy have the motherboards and processors)

Would it not be cheaper to buy a new intel processor, rather than buying a mobo and AMD processor?

unless it is a socket 775 board with bent pins on the board , in which case just get a new board

You might not have to re format. When I got my new board I kept a copy of XP on a HD just to make sure everything was running right. I put the new drivers and installed overtop the old ones and have not BSOD yet.
