Default installshield gives me shit for eq2

please help me guys, i have a severe installshield error
it does this for just about everything that uses installshield

i get the error "0x80040706 Object Reference Not Set" when trying to install eq2. ok, so i go to the installshield support site and they tell me to download this fix, since the eq2 setup.exe is version 11:

(http://consumer.installshield.com/kb.asp?id=Q108322; InstallShieldEngineUpdate1100.exe)

thats wonderful!! guess what? THE FIX USES INSTALLSHIELD!! so i get the same exact error when i try to use the fix and im left here asking you guys for some help please help me if you can. i want to find a clean installshield installer, so far ive come up with nothing. HELP ME! thanks. ive kept searching and even reinstalled the iKernel but nothing works.

lol, i agree with arch angel..but this doesnt sound like a install shield problem...try rollback drivers to a previous date with ur GPU. If the CD is damaged try to get it fixed..or something.
