Default installing xp on two computers???

i just built my computer and installed xp on it, but my friend wants to borrow he disk and instal xp on his comp.

will that be able to work with the same activation key??

or should i just tell him to stop being cheap and buy his own???

no it will work i have done it on the same atviation key.

You can't use the same key on two computers. Tell him to buy a copy.

no and yes.
depends on the version of XP you use...
look up the rights you have for your particular version on the MS site.

yea, just tell him to buy his own CD key.
ive heard reports of some people being able to activate using the same cd key on 2 computers, but this is not always the case. cant go wrong if he actually buys it

do what i did
call up ms say u cant activate xp after a reformat and they give u a brand new key

I personally have the same version of XP activated on 4 different computers.

I think it depends which release of XP you own.
