Default Installing Vista 32bit on a PC with a CD-RW Drive

I have a PC with a CD-RW drive and I want to install vista on it. How can I go about installing vista on it. I thought about putting Vista on a flash drive and installing it that way but will it work transferring Vista from the DVD onto a flash drive and installing it that way?

Or will I completely need to get a DVD-RW to install Vista?

Thanks.

It doesn't have to be DVD-RW. Most CD-RW that I've seen are also DVD-ROM. It just doesn't say it.

I don't know about this. I am pretty sure it will say on the cover if it is a DVD-Rom.

Just use an external usb cd/dvd drive. Change boot order and make it the 1st your computer recognizes, and install vista

I know for a fact because when I put in vista in the computer it doesn't even read it as a media disc. It thinks that nothing is there. Thanks.

http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-in...working-guide/

This is a guide of how to install Windows 7 and vista from a flash drive. I've followed this guide and it worked for windows 7 on my computer that doesnt have a cdrom.
