Default Installing Linux

I'm thinking about installing linux in addition to windows on my new kickass gaming rig...

would it be possible to fit both OSs on one 250GB high performance HD?

I have at least 220 Gigs left to spare and have no idea how im going to fill it all up with just windows...

anyway... where can i download/get linux? do you have any suggestions on which one i should get? i have no experience with linux but i have seen people use it...

?

You will get a loader screen like any multiboot system. Not sure about ubuntu, it will either use GRUB or LILO. Basically when you boot up it will ask you what OS you wanna load.
