Default Installing a Card Reader

i recently bought a 5 in one card reader which reads 4 diffedrent memory cards and has a usb as well, its made by sony and fits into a floppy drive space.

my problem is i dont know where to plug the cable into my motherboard, the wire itself says usb, however, the normal usb cable uses 9 pins, 5 in a row and 4 under it like this:
this cable however, attaches to the motherboard with 4 pins with one empty space beside it, if anyone can help me out thatd be great thx
