Install Windows in Western Digital HDD????

I have installed windows on many Maxtor and WD drives. The procedure is the same for both. Boot from the xp cd and follow the install instructions.

WD has a dos program like Maxblast too. However it does not give me the option to choose which OS to install. And after the end of the reformat, it gives no instruction to how to install OS.

WD SUCKS!

Don't criticize something just because you don't know how to use it. Anyway, you don't need any DOS programs. Why would you install DOS anyway? All newer versions of XP have done away with it. Just insert the XP installation disc and wait for it to boot. Simple as pie.

Yeah, I don't really see where the problems occuring to tell the truth...it should just well..work, unless somethings up with what your using......

I am sorry.. out of anger and frustration I say that WD sucks..

Okay I finally got it working somewhere now. I am using the right dos bootup program to make partition to the HDD.

Now when I turn the computer on it says "NTLDR is missing." What does that mean???? And how can I solve this?
