Default insprion 1501 or a latitude 131L?

im debating on what to buy a insprion 1501 or a latitude 131L? here are the specs of

which would be better choice/

i am buying this for my 13 year old sun for his 13th birthday. he is going to use it for home and school work tell me what would be a better choice.

umm does the insprion 1501 have built in wirelss ?

if it doesnt then id go with the latitude but apart from the grapics which u have not mentioned on the latitude then there is not much difference have u considered another company apart from dell ??

us or uk ?? maybe we cud suggest some equvalent laptops for cheaper or better for same price ??

The sig limit is 5 lines, please change yours.

Anyway, they're basically identical laptops.

US. yes i will have the latitude with wireless. i would prefer dell but if u have some other suggestions on dell computers for around 500 to 600$$ please let me know

i know its $50 ova ur budget i know its not a dell but that is better than the 2 laptops you suggested and in my opiniona very good laptop for the price

ok what kind of games , if you can list a few and
the lattitude has a dvd burner yet the inspiron only has a cd burner so i would get the lattitude but it would be good in this case to see which looks best as in which one has a very attractive case which is down to your opinion
