Alrighty, I have a inspiron 9400 that I got for $30 because the power brick was bad, so it "didn't turn on".

Specs as follows:
T2300 1.66Ghz Core Duo
1.5GB DDR2 533mhz
128mb Radeon X1400
1400x900 17" matte LCD
new kb + battery
upgraded gpu fan from m6300

I want to upgrade it with:
M1710 led's
1920x1200 matte lcd
Percision m6300 board
Dell FX3600M 512mb
T9500 or X9000 cpu, 2.6 & 2.8ghz respectively
M1710 palmrest (cracked and broke, gotta replace anyways)
M1710 lcd cover
new screen hinges
rubber feet
better cpu fan
1TB hard drive
8 gigs of ram

So basically i'm going to replace the worn out covers with M1710 XPS's and put the upgraded M6300 board in here. I need to know if:

1. the M6300 board works with the led's from a M1710 XPS
2. If there is a better cpu fan, got a gpu fan upgrade from 3cfm to 4.3cfm.
3. If you can overclock the X9000 with software on the M6300 board
4. If there is a bigger battery than the 8 cell, hold 4hrs in vegetable mode, 2hrs gaming.

Thanks :)
