I have an assignment about the file organization methods described in the title. I have done an intro to each file type and the pros and cons of each. The thing I am having trouble withh though is discussion of how buffering and data streams affect the file.
Any info on this or where to research it would be much appreciated.

The Task
You are to write an individual essay describing the different forms of file storage. You should
include an introduction to the three main forms of storage, address their advantages and disad-vantages.
The report should include discussion of how buffering and data streams affect the file
