Not that I'm saying the Athlon XPs are incapable, but generally people build PCs to be more current which is the whole reason for upgrading/improvements. Athlon 64s are as current as the Katrina cleanup. If you need help in configuration, let us know and we'll put together a good system for you.

Since you live in the UK, Newegg won't deliver there. I'm going to use Newegg for the parts list so you have to see what store carries these parts. Now, these are the core components of which might interest you. The other components I'm sure you will have no problem with configurations because they are so basic and standard (ie, floppy drives, DVD burners, hard drives-get SATA though, zip drives, etc):

Basic affordable version:
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ Venice 1GHz FSB 512KB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103537

Better CPU, but cost higher:
AMD Athlon 64 3700+ San Diego 1GHz FSB 1MB L2 Cache Socket 939 Processor - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819103539

This motherboard will work just fine although there are better versions at extra cost:
MSI K8N Neo4-F Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4-4X ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813130491

CORSAIR XMS 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM Unbuffered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820145450

Weekend Sale
MSI NX6600GT-TD128E Geforce 6600GT 128MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814127147

As for sound, you can use MSI's integrated sound. They're pretty good unless you want to go with this:
Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS GAMER Limited Edition 70SB035000013 8 (7.1) Channels 24-bit 192KHz PCI Interface Sound Card - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16829102171

ASPIRE X-Gear ATXB5KLW-AL Silver Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420W Power Supply - Retail
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811144041

Let me go ahead and get a hard drive for you while I'm at it:
Western Digital Caviar SE WD2500JD 250GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822144154

Keep in mind this is huge upgrade to what you had posted earlier.
